Welcome to St Mark’s Catholic Primary School.

As you navigate these pages you will get a snapshot of what school life is like at this co-educational school of some 465 children (2008). Most of the children live close to the school which is situated at 92 Lilac Street, Inala, right beside the Catholic Church.

“Centred on Jesus Christ, St. Mark’s Catholic Primary School strives to nourish and celebrate a Catholic, Christian way of life where everyday experiences are recognized as places where God is present.”

Our vision is one whereby, “the student’s of St. Mark’s will develop the skills to go forward in hope and optimism, ready to engage in a diverse and complex world as responsible Christian citizens.”

School Mission Statement

There is much that we are proud of about our school: it functions as a vital and growing school community. Every child and every family is valued and encouraged to develop strong links in the school, parish and wider community.

The school opened its doors in 1963 and was run by the Sisters of Mercy. St. Mark’s has grown from humble beginning to continue educating Catholic children in the area. I welcome inquiries from all families eager to join this faith-inspired, learning community.

If you have any queries, or would like any further information, please don’t hesitate to contact the school on 3372 3408.
